Just a quick recap of this year’s Position Day.

First of all special thanks to APEX for allowing us to use six of their courts in prime time for Position Day.  It is a pleasure to play on such fine courts.  Also thanks for all you who participated in this year’s Fall League’s Position Day. 

Da Independents, Littleton Y, Monaco and Flatirons played a random draw on Position Day.  Littleton Y came out on top by going 7-1 in PD matches.  Congratulations to Sherwin and his team.   This is the first year for the Littleton Y to win Stanley’s Cup.  I will get a plaque made with Littleton’s name on it so it can be put on the cup for posterity.

For those who missed it, there was a nice celebration afterwards at Malone’s.

The DAC announced they are hosting the new "Winter Leagues" starting in January that will feature 7 weeks of league play for both singles and doubles.  The Singles League will run on Monday nights 6pm to 9pm starting Monday, January 16th through Monday, March 5th, and the Doubles League will run on Saturday mornings starting Saturday, January 21st through Saturday, March 10th at 8:00am-11:00am.  Full details available here in pdf form and on the Events Calendar page. read more ... - (published here on Tuesday, December 06, 2011)
